Hi,

I would like to know the duration/shelf life of Clean room paper after use. The clean room papers get printed with information/form, get autoclaved and then get documented during production run. I would like to know how many months/years does the paper last afterwards and if there is an etablished proof of it.

The pharma companies are required to store all the documentation for a certain period of time.

Please advice and share your expertise and knowledge.

It is worth noting that with the concern for the environment and cost reduction, many manufacturers are now digitalizing documentations. Practically eliminating also the need for storage is also another big gain. However, there’s still a need for cleanroom paper and you can now find a more sustainable cleanroom paper, 100% recyclable since otherwise latex does not allow the paper to be recycled. Funny many think that “going green” is more expensive, yet in this case it clearly is not so.
